
I took this late in the evening at La Jolla Shores a couple weeks ago. I played with the contrast using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. There was a thick layer of clouds with just a bit of blue sky coming through, and the resulting light makes the clouds look tye-dyed and the ocean look like chipped obsidian or black molten lava. Ominous but pretty, I think.
