Orchid Series

As you can tell I had some fun playing with these pictures. The light was coming from behind which made the center glow -- there is no yellow on the flower itself. I am entranced by the filamentous curliques on the bottom petal; they are insect-like!

Anticipation

There were thousands of folding chairs set up for the graduation ceremonies this weekend. I do not envy those who had to put them out and take them away. And for those who didn't get there early enough to get a seat in the shade.

Primaries

I like the blue-yellow-red sequence, which I don't think I noticed until I looked at it on my computer.

Begemot

I was spending a quiet, bright Sunday morning in a dimly-lit, quirky coffeeshop and spotted this black cat lurking in the shadows.
